Yakob Thau

At Jakob Thau Studio, the ambition is related to creating products that raise professionalism, creativity and product standards. The driving force is a love of good artisanship and a desire to explore both new and familiar materials, uniting them with industrial possibilities. In this way, Jakob Thau design creates products that are visionary and unusual – but also traditional.

Thau established Jakob Thau Studio in 2006 while still studying at the Danish Design School. Thau designed for Swedish furniture manufacturer Källemo A/B ve Eurobib A/B. As well as being a carpenter, Thau completed his master’s degree at the Danish Design School in 2008. Thau has his own studio and prototype workshop at the center of Copenhagen.
